<- Hole 14 ->

The number one handicap hole, many consider this to be the toughest par 4 in Kentucky.  It's a long dogleg left with trees and a bunker on the left, and a tree lined OB all the way up the right side.  Your drive must be hit very straight, landing in the right center of the fairway - a scary proposition for many, with OB lurking only a few feet away.  If you're too far left, even in the fairway, the large tree guarding the left corner may block your attempt at the green.  If you really hit it long off the tee, you might get away with going up the left side or middle.  Another large tree stands on the right side of the fairway, 60 yards short of the green.  Its branches swat down many shots.  If your drive was long enough to leave you a shot at the green, your long iron or fairway wood will need to be hit left to right to get around this tree.  Many golfers lay up on their second shot into the valley left of the tree, pitching on in three.  The small elevated green is trapped on the right, with overhanging branches and OB beyond that.  Even though a clump of evergreens sit left of the green, it's better to miss there, rather than go right.  The putting surface is crowned, with all putts breaking away from the middle of the green.
